He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Darnell and Edith Darnell (Budge); and his brother David Darnell. He is survived by: his close friend Karen S. Darnell (Nelson); his children, Lynda, Laura, Chad, Nikki Darnell and Heather Marney; his grandchildren, Haley Snodgrass, Trevor Snodgrass, Spencer Snodgrass, Randy Parks, Tyler Parks, Jonathan and Emma Darnell; his great grandchild Nolan Parks; his brothers, James "Bud" and Donald Darnell; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Judi Darnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
