It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Armstrong of Cheboygan, Michigan, born in Beaver Island, Michigan, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Armstrong; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Anderson and Bob Mysliwiec. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Armstrong of Beaver Island; his wife Gerri Anne Mysliwec of Grand Rapids; his daughters, Monica (Alexandra) and Paige Elowsky (Travis); his grandson Coleson Elowsky; and his siblings, Roselyn (Rocky), Jo and Clay (Dawn).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's/ St. Charles Catholic Church (120 North St d, Cheboygan, MI 49721). A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Bob's family asks for donations to the Cheboygan Area Music Program or Cheboygan Area Art Program P.O. Box 100, Cheboygan, MI 49721, for which Bob was an avid supporter.
