She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephraim Sova and Loretta Sova (Chamberlain); her husband Donald George Barrette; her siblings, Louis, Leonard, Alfred, Roy, Richard, Kenneth Sova, Mabel Vincent and Hazel Tolsdorf; and her son-in-law Jeffery Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Barrette Jr. (Karen) of Cheboygan, Gary Barrette (Dorothy) of Cheboygan, Cindy Harrison of Cheboygan and Janet Rozek (Doug) of Cheboygan; her grandchildren, Matthew Barrette, Amanda Weber (Jordan), Jason, Shawn, Russell Ellenburger, Ashliegh, Lindsey Harrison, Dustin Rozek (Monica) and Mariah Rozek; her great grandchildren, Urijah, Wyatt Bannatyne and Kinsley Rozek; and her brother Gary Sova (Ruth) of Fowlerville.
Memorial contributions in Rita's name may be directed to Bishop Baraga School or McLaren Hospice House of Cheboygan.
