He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Valot and Theresa Valot (Banks); and his siblings, Clem, Harold, Ed, Raymond, Jean, Ruby, Beulah and May.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Landrie; his daughters, Betty Lewis (John) of Cheboygan and Sandy Owen (Ken) of Homer, AK; his brother Wayne Valot (Darlene) of Casa Grande, AZ; his sister-in-law Audrey Valot of Cheboygan; his grandchildren, Jen Caplinger (Dennis), Matt Lewis (Jami), Steven Owen (Aimee), Chris Owen (Joanna) and Scott Owen (Kayla); and his great grandchildren, Quinn, Jason, Haylee, Easton and Ivy.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Straits or Medilodge of Cheboygan.
