He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Malenfant and Delores Malenfant (Gaynor); and his aunt Gale Malenfant. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Ciolek (Steve), Kim Gaudinier (David), Geri Williams, Chris Melching (Erik Boucher) and Fred Malenfant (LeeAnn); his nieces and nephews, Bethany, Amanda, David (Annette), Collin, Jake, Emily, Ryan (Lori), Danielle, Katy (Adam), Kate and Stephanie; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alex, Lily, Connor, Elliana and Harrison.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Richard's honor be made to either the Cheboygan High School Bowling or Golf teams.
