He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kolaski and Helen Kolaski (Skiera); his spouse Patricia "Pat" Firman; and his sisters, Edith Vieau, Bernice Kortz, Christina Shampine, Betty Brown and Barbara Goodman.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Kolaski of Cheboygan, Kathy Kolaski of Santa Cruz, Paul Kolaski of Cheboygan, Julie Klecker (Steve) of Davenport, Mary Armentrout, Cheboygan Kolaski and Diana Kolaski of Chicago; his grandchildren, Erica, Dylan, Sara (Lloyd), Christine (Cody) and Alishia; his great grandchildren, Max, Jenna, Silas and Malena; and his brother Jerry Kolaski of Ludington.
