He was predeceased by: his parents, George Tryban and Wanda Tryban (Stemky); and his brothers, Joe Tryban and Frank Tryban. He is survived by: his wife Denise A. Spray; his daughter Jodi Tryban (Jesse Moulder) of Cheboygan; his siblings, Irene Tryban, Theresa Gowell (Jerry), Marianne Tryban and John Tryban (Heidi); and his in-laws, Mary Ellen Tryban, Linda Spray, Toni, Dennis Havlena, Mike, Rita Spray, Rich, Lori Spray, Teri, Tom McGinn, Ted and Wendy Spray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
