He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lafrinere and Leola Lafrinere (McLaughlin); his sisters, Sharon Fenlon and Patty Elliott; his brother-in-law Richard Cronan; his father-in-law Richard Bauers; and his friend Ken Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Bauers of Cheboygan; his sons, Taylor Lafrinere (Stephanie) of Richmond, Virginia and Matthew Lafrinere (Ashley Stauffer) of Richmond, Virginia; his grandsons, Quinn, Louis and Grayson; his siblings, Linda Cronan of Cheboygan and Roger Lafrinere (Debbie) of Cheboygan; his nieces and nephews, Stacey, Scott, Keri (Sam), Brady (Katie), Amanda (Danny), Alison, Emily, Jaron, Sophie, Betsey and Tessa; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas (Abbi), Alayna, Lance, Aleah, Julia, Eliza, Elliot (Max), Owen and Hazel; his parents-in-law, Marcia Bauers, Richard Fenlon, Thom Bauers and Cindi Scrimgeour; and his close friends, Tony, Keith, Mark, Chrissy, Rich, Bill and Derris. He is also survived by his sons, his friends, his brother-in-law, and his mother-in-law.
