She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Schultz and Clara Schultz (Beine); her husband James Taggart; her sons, William and Michael; her great grandchild MacKenzie Morris; and her siblings, Margaret Schnur, Geraldine Whipkey, Eugene, Melvin and Donald.
She is survived by: her children, James Taggart (Gillian) of San Jose, Patrick Taggart (Kim) of San Jose, Lisa Campeau (Steve) of Cheboygan and Shelly Chase (Dean) of Howell; her grandchildren, Stephanie Morris (Stephen) of Virginia Beach, Kristin Campeau (Ed Mellema) of Grand Rapids, Christopher Taggart (Amanda) of Cleveland, Katie Taggart of California and Joseph Taggart of California; and her great grandchild Jamie Morris.
Memorials may be made to the McLaren Hospice House in Cheboygan, the American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
