He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lucy Barrette; his children, Sandy Borowicz Cheboygan (Harold), Denny Barrette Cheboygan (Betsy), Barbara Gabriel (Jim), Lenny Barrette Cheboygan (Rose Mary) and JoAnn Schmidt (Raj); his siblings, Esther Robidou, Jeanette Robidou, Marion Rivard and Jim Barrette (Laura); and his parents, Napoleon Barrette and Henrietta Barrette. He was also cherished by numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to Bishop Baraga Catholic School.
