It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry John Soczek of Cheboygan, Michigan, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Louis Soczek; his sister Suzanne Lanier; and his nephew Marshall Lanier. He is survived by: his mother Caroline Bernice Kowalczak; his brothers, Joseph Soczek (Scottie), Dick Soczek (Louanne), Norman Soczek (Angela) and Thomas Soczek; his brother-in-law Ken Lanier; and his friends, Fred Stempky, Sue Stempky, Sarah Kime (Dan), Julie Moskal (Ryan), Amy McPhee (Ryan), Christy Gahn (Michael) and Geri Kane.
In honor of Larry's request, memorial contributions be made to St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church or St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Larry's honor.
