He is survived by: his wife Madeline "Mattie" Couture of Alverno; his daughter Penny Reynolds (Frank); his grandchildren, Adam Newman of Grand Rapids and Megan Newman of Traverse City; and his sister Josephine Robydek of Cheboygan.
