She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Athey and Marie Athey (Welling); and her sister Elsie Bur. She is survived by: her spouse Melvin C. Vieau; her children, Melvin Vieau (Lydia) of Topinabee, Tina Leavitt (Randy) of Indian River, John Vieau (Cindy) of Cheboygan and Dawn Lemon (Robert) of Topinabee; and her brothers, Gene Athey of Wolverine and Jim Athey (Nelva) of Cheboygan. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
