He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; and his son George Ezra Christensen. He is survived by: his son Bobbie Christensen (Andrea) of Cheboygan; his granddaughters, Andrea Beth Watson (Sam) of Perry and Ashley McGillis (Ray) of St. Johns; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Watson, Aspen and Finley McGillis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
