Gary Barney Obituary
We bid farewell to Gary Barney of Cheboygan, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 27, 2024 at the age of 81. Gary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Barney and Kathleen Barney (Burgess); his siblings, Patricia, Carol, Bert and Doren; and his son-in-law Mark Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Cheboygan; his children, John (Stacey) of Afton, Elizabeth Barney of Carson City, Sara Scott of Wolverine, Philip of Alanson, Daniel (Rebekah) of Fayetteville, Michael (Malinda) of Cheboygan, Anna Barney of Greenville and Susanna Jackman (Shane) of Manton; and his siblings, Janice Allen (Carl) of Gladwin and Greg Barney of Gladwin. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Indian River Kingdom Hall (6642 S Straits Hwy, Indian River, MI 49749).
