She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; and her son-in-law Michael Romel. She is survived by: her children, Michael Remus (Veronica) of Cheboygan, Sylvia Heward (Jeffrey) of Alanson, Barbara Romel of Grand Blanc and Kenneth Remus (Cindy) of Wolverine; her grandchildren, Rebecca Watsabaugh (Bradley), Zachery Heward, Dusten Remus, Hazen Remus (Hannah), Erik Remus, Michael Romel II, Marie Romel-Wanless (Kevin), Franciska Richardson (Mark) and Gracinha O'Connor (Dan); her siblings, Siegfried Städele (Monika) of Germany, Margit Wende and Elvie Ludes; her sister-in-law Lillian Wirgau; and her friends, Sheba and Izzy. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
