He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schellenberg and Eleanore Schellenberg (Hohf); and his close friend Roger Noel. He is survived by: his wife Mary McDonald; his children, Ian Schellenberg of Cheboygan and Megan Schellenberg of Afton; his granddaughters, Abrielle Sharits (David) and Alyssa Good; and his siblings, Gail Peterson and Charles Schellenberg.
The family suggests memorials be made to either St. John's Lutheran Church in Cheboygan or Hospice of Michigan.
