He was predeceased by: his parents, William Laur and Beatrice Laur; his daughter Sara; and his sisters, Lynn and Dawn.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Matthew) of Cheboygan and Adam of Cheboygan; his grandchildren, Nathan, Colby, Gavin and Alexis; and his siblings, Don, Cricket and Penny.
