He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulis Sheppard and Margaret Sheppard (Brand); his brother Ron Sheppard; and his nephew Randy Colyer. He is survived by: his daughter April Potwora (Darin Chapin); his sisters, Linda McDevitt (Jim) and Sharon Broscious; his nieces and nephews, Angie Schoennege (Danny), Jaime Welch (Craig), Christy Wierenga (Ed), Louis Verile, Ashley Broscious and Sally Baird (Mike); and his great-nephew Luke Schoennege.
