With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Parker Getz Sr. of Cheboygan, Michigan, born in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Getz and Pauline Getz (Camp); and his siblings, Robert (Rita), Carl (Jane), Arley (Sydney), Bill, Jack, Tim, David (Blanche), Alton (Mary Ruth), Nancy and Rita.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Mae Getz; his son Charles Getz, Jr. (Janet); his grandchildren, Mallory Getz (Todd) and Derek Getz; his great grandchild Stacey Getz; and his siblings, Jean Foust, Betty Reimard, Delores Myers and Nelson Getz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Charles' name may be made to the family, Hospice House of Cheboygan, or St. James Episcopal.
