She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton E. Smith and Dora J. Smith (Harter); her husband Richard Helfrich Sr.; and her siblings, Dan, Ted Smith and Sharon Hoffman.
She is survived by: her children, Ricy Ball and Richard Helfrich Jr. (Anne); her grandchildren, Cynthia Ball (Rob), Cora Ball, Jessie Helfrich-LaLonde (Jason) and CJ Helfrich; her great grandchildren, Robert Ball (Marissa), Makayla Ball, Kaylee and Chase Ball; and her brother-in-law Al Surfus (Linda) of Conyers, Georgia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
