She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Shampine and Dorothy Shampine (Couture); her son Jeffrey Christopher Sova; and her siblings, Richard, Thomas, Dave Shampine, Rita Gobeyn and Sally Shampine.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Sova; her children, Dawn Sova of Cheboygan and Vince Sova of Cheboygan; her grandchildren, Shawn Viau and Marylynn Brown (Abe); her great grandchildren, Ella, Oliva, Anna, Ada Brown, Adam and Alissa Deloy; her siblings, Novalee Niesen, Marcia Shampine, Marlene Bongard (Craig), Cheryl Kwiatkoski, Kim Cook, Denise Watts (Art), Lawrence Shampine and Pete Shampine; and also, Barb Archambo (John), Mary Gaynor, Sharon LaHaie and Sandy Beard.
