Alice Shields Obituary
In loving memory of Alice Shields of Cheboygan, Michigan, who departed this world on December 27, 2024 at the age of 89. Alice leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Robert Knaffle and Raymond Knaffle; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Knaffle, Hazel Knaffle, Jean Knaffle, Darlene Knaffle, Marilyn Jankoviak and Duane Shields.
She is survived by: her former husband Arnold J Shields; her children, Diane Alice Ogden (Mark), Charles Arnold Shields (Lois), Gary John Shields, Daniel Clarence Shields (Wendy), Linda Susan Shields, James Allen Shields (Kathy) and Dale Michael Shields; her husband Ronald J Shields; her grandchildren, Jessica Bandstra (John), Tom Ogden (Joannie), Travis Ogden (Melissa), Dustin Shields (Sammantha), Jacob Shields (Braley McCumby), Trisha Shields, Stephanie Shields-Morgan (Evan), Zachary Shields, Tabatha Valot (Ryan) and Ashley Valot; her siblings, Allen Knaffle, Lonnie Knaffle and Sally Knaffle-Daniels (Wally); and her siblings-in-law, Dolores Wagner, Ann Conley, Ardis Shields and Rich Jankoviak. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (4989 Polish Line Rd, Cheboygan, MI 49721).
