She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Parkkinen and Darlene Parkkinen (Tormala); her sister Kay Parkkinen; her cousins, Christy and Marnie Parkkinen; and her grandmother Hilja Kallio.
She is survived by: her husband Todd Burns; her daughters, Tracy Lange (Trevor), Katie Miller (Gavin) of Munising, Abbey of Eben Junction and Amy Burns of Eben Junction; her granddaughter Violet; and her brother Larry Parkkinen (Tracy) of Los Angeles.
