He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Hulda Sormunen; his siblings, Carl, Mildred, Toivo, John (Freddie) and Kenneth (Connie); his nephew Chuck; his son Mike Nerg (Julie) of Frankfort; his grandsons, Jeremiah Nerg of Frankfort, Justin Nerg (Paula) of Lake Ann, Steven Nerg (Amanda) of Macon, GA and Kevin Nerg (Sydney) of Lakeville, MN; his daughter Sue Truelove (Tom) of Chasse; his grandchildren, Levi Truelove (Jen) of Traverse City, Casey Truelove (Amanda) of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Terra Chall (Mik) of Jackson, MI.; and his sister-in-law Vera Nerg of Cheboygan, MI. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
