It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John F. Poynter (Chassell, Michigan), born in Howell, Michigan, who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Poynter and Aileen Poynter (Sullivan); his uncle Max; and his aunt Dorothy. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Baakko (Cheri); his daughters, Tammi Peterson (Joel), Kerri Sleeman (Tim) and CheriLynn Lampinen (Scott); his grandchildren, Derek Peterson (Ashley Kela), Meghan Peterson, Brooklyn Peterson, Andrew Lampinen and Paul Johnson (Meegan); his mother-in-law Helen Baakko; his siblings, Tom Poynter (Lani) and Sue Mitsuno (Ted); and his siblings-in-law, Vickie Meese (Dale) and John Baakko (Doris). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
