She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Brey and Irene Brey (Olive); her grandson Randall; and her brother Gary Brey. She is survived by: her former husband James Ruska; her husband Karl Laajala; her grandchildren, Nicholas Heikkila, Brittany Cieczka and Wendy Cieczka Her; her brother Richard Brey; and her cousin Cathy Dicks of Chassell Several. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
