She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Riutta and Hilda Riutta (Anderson); her granddaughter Grace Elizabeth Hietala; and her siblings, Wilbur, Raymond, Richard, Robert, Russell, Verna Johnson, Mildred Huhta, Alyce Jestila and Violet Tuomi.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Hietala; her children, Heidi Lyn Hietala of Chassell and Steven Hietala (Lindsay) of Chassell; her grandchildren, Saige, Evah, Abbigail, Kierah, Isabellah, Colton and Carter Her Dear; and her children, Percy and Mair Eva. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
