It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Heckel of Chassell, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Colombe and Cecilia Colombe (Beauchamp); her husband Howard D. Heckel; her stepfather Walter Colombe; and her siblings, Mary Nelson, Katheryn Sauvola, Rita O'Connell, Eleanor Sauvola and Lawrence "Duffy" Colombe.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Heckel of Chassell, Elizabeth Glaser of Brighton, Shelly Gordon (Charlie) of Red Cliff, David Heckel (Mary) of Hancock and Allen Heckel of Lake Linden, Her; her stepson Howard A. Heckel of Chassell; her siblings, William Colombe of Fremont, Dorothy Aho of Tapiola, Richard Colombe (Mary Ellen) of Chassell, Angeline Lyttinen (Melvin) of Tapiola, Genevieve Kyro (Ron) of Tapiola, John Colombe of Chassell and Pauline Pietila of L'Anse Sixteen; and her great great grandchild Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
