It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert E Hongisto of Chassell, Michigan, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Lou; and his sisters, Aileen Hongisto and Annette Sleeman. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kumpula of Chassell; his children, Renee Fowler (Dick) of Chassell, Rebecca "Becky" Huhta (Mike) of Wadena, MN, Rachel Olechnowicz (Ryan) of Howell, MI, Rhyan Hongisto (Dana) of Belleville, WI and Rodger Hongisto (Amanda) of Augustine, FL; and his brother Don Lahti (Gladys) of Brainerd, MN. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; 19 stepchildren.
