He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schumacher and Josephine Schumacher (Kramer); and his wife Edna Schumacher. He is survived by: his children, John Schumacher, Tama Boucher (Fred Wieting IV) and Shyla Tailor; his grandchildren, Jessica Adamczyk (Greg), Julie Baker (Jason), Rhiana Tailor and India Tailor; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Emma, Jameson and Carson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (807 St Marys Blvd, Charlotte, MI 48813).
