Vivian Lucille Speck Obituary
Vivian Lucille Speck, 88, of Charlotte, MI, born August 25, 1932 in Cloverdale, MI, passed away September 27, 2020, daughter of Benjamin and Isadore (Castelein) Demaray. Vivian worked for General Motors for 40 years retiring in 1993. After her retirement from General Motors she worked for the ADESA Auto Auction in Dimondale, Michigan where she brought her homemade bread for her co-workers to share.
Vivian enjoyed her Lake home at Higgins Lake since 1973 where she loved her pontoon boat rides. She later spent time at Crystal Lake. Vivian also spent plenty of her time at the casino where she had a specific slot machine she enjoyed. Vivian also enjoyed all her grandchildren and over the years had many toy poodles as her companions.
Vivian is survived by her daughters Karen O’Meara and Kim Morgan (David Edwards); her grandchildren: Shane Morgan, Meghan Lince (Erik), and Cameron Smith; great granddaughter Piper Lince and great grandson Jace Smith-Peregord; brother, Frank Demaray (Shirlene) . Vivian also had an adopted family in Carol Richardson and her 2 children, Ann Marie Szostak (Jon) and Bradley Richardson (Sarah), along with Carol’s grandson, Cole Szostak. She was predeceased by grandson, Ryan O’Meara; brother, Royce Demaray; sister, Virginia McConnell.
