With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Dotts (Charlotte, Michigan), born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on June 27, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Theodore Dotts and Florence Marjorie Dotts (Densham); his brother Richard Dotts; and his sister-in-law Louise Dotts (Haddon). He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Faulkner (Dieterle); his wife Gayle Dotts (Sanborn) of Bellevue; his children, Lori Dotts of Grass Lake, Lisa Kozitzki (John) of Hayes, VA and Stephen Dotts (Ahnika) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Alyssa Bos (Brent), Brandon Kozitzki, Brittany Kozitzki, Kelsey Meyer, McKenna Kozitzki (Kenny Dennis), Silver Dotts, Stevie Dotts, Zoë Dotts-Brown, Avery Dotts-Brown and Abigail Dotts; his great grandchildren, Natalie, Callum, Sykes, Taevyn, Wilder, Calliope, Annabelle, Peyton, Dawson and Aidan; his siblings, Barb Soffredine (Russ) of Gaylord, Sally Schlupe (Robert) of Munith, Nancy Nagel (Duane) of Grand Rapids, Wendy Arntson (Lynn) of Chelsea and Ray Dotts (Julie) of Jackson; his siblings-in-law, Bethany Grubb (Don) of Midland and Roy Sanborn (Linda) of Cincinnati; and his son-in-law Charles Brown of Grass Lake. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Optimist International Foundation or Helping Hands Food Pantry in Charlotte.
