He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Halsey and Rena Halsey (Scott); and his brother Chuck Halsey. He is survived by: his spouse Drouscella Perry; his children, Brian Halsey and Brenda Place (Douglas); and his siblings, David "Hap" Halsey, Stephen "Weezer" Halsey (Gail) and Rebecca Halsey-Saylor. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
