He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Dexter and Imogene Lorraine Ellard (Schaiffer); his wife Mona Ellard; his brothers, Bert Dexter Ellard, Jr. and Terry Ellard; and his sister-in-law Carol Ellard.
He is survived by: his children, Courtney Quinn (Scott) of Olivet and Kyle Ellard (Sharlene) of Farmington Hills; his grandchildren, McKenna Quinn (Lindsey) and Conner Quinn; and his brothers, Danney Ellard of Delton and Roger Ellard (Connie) of Alabama. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Charlotte (1110 S Cochran Ave, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery (801 Tully Brown Dr, Charlotte, MI 48813).
