Sara Jeane Jackson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jeane Jackson of Charlotte, Michigan, who passed away on January 26, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burr Miller and Marjorie Miller (Badger); her husband Martin Jackson; and her children, Gary Lee Jackson and Phyllis Jeane Burcham.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Jackson of Charlotte, MI, David Jackson of Charlotte, MI and Sue-Ann Johnson of Eaton Rapids, MI; and her siblings-in-law, Hazel Miller and Kenneth Jackson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pray Funeral Home (401 W Seminary St, Charlotte, MI 48813). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 W Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012).
