He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Nevins and Illa Nevins (Frever); his wife Ella McClintock; and his brothers, Ray, Robert and Rex Nevins.

He is survived by: his daughter Michele Clark; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Victoria and Brittany; his brother Gerald Fetterman; and his close friends, Sue Farlin and Dale Land. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
