He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Herbert and Laura Hamilton (Lovejoy); his wife Hazel M. Burley; and his sister Edna Sims (John). He is survived by: his children, Kathy Rosenbrook (Jeff) of Charlotte, Terry Hamilton (Diana) of Charlotte and Todd Hamilton (Kelly) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Mindy, Ashley, Nate, Kelly, Brandie, Jessika, Broedie and Blaze; and his siblings, Laura Taylor, Ken Hamilton (Carol), Gary Hamilton (Lisa), Russell Hamilton, Jr. (Susan) and Carolyn Frith (Tom). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
