He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred West and Helen West (Schuette); his sister Patricia Evans; his brother-in-law Jerry Evans; and his nephew Jerry Evans.

He is survived by: his sister Sally Dorko (Joe); his niece Cherie Polovino (Mike); and his nephew Chase Dorko.
