He was predeceased by: his brother Rodney Rumsey. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Dale Rumsey, Sr. and Nancy Rumsey (Dolbee); his sons, Wesley Hoffman and Richard Dale Rumsey III; his stepdaughter Ashley Nieto; his grandchildren, Ryder Rumsey, Payton Nieto-Cruz, Imani Davis and Kaedence Davis; his close friend Jenny Kline; his siblings, Roland Rumsey (Terry), Robert Rumsey and Lisa Balderson (Doug); and his sister-in-law Lisa Rumsey (Rodney). He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and great-nieces/nephews.
