He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Stokes (Shaw); and his pets, J. J. and Bear. He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Ogger, Steve Stokes (Jenny), James Stokes (Ashley) and Tracy Shrum (Aaron); his grandchildren, Skyler Ogger, Ashlynn Ogger, Savannah Shrum, Ann Shrum, Radley Ogger, Destinee Shrum, Tyler Stokes, Isabella Stokes, Caroline Stokes and Thomas Stokes; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Stokes and Lilly Catt.
