He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas DeVere and Anne Grant (Baas); his wife Esther Wright; his children, Randy and Sandra Kay; his sisters, Barbara Benedict, Marjorie Wagoner and Virginia Shaver; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Burnett, Wayne Wagoner and Carroll Benedict.

He is survived by: his children, Paul Grant, Pam Appelman (Nelson), Don Grant (Marcia) and Rob (Wendy); his granddaughter-in-law Cindy Grant; his grandchildren, Dusti Seeley (Dennis), Tennille Stetler (Andy), Cassie Bell (Matt), Tony Appelman (Shannon), Joheather Grant, Leslie Zook (Mike), Jessie Grant-Drout (Matt), Hillary Malinowski (Clint) and Nick Grant (Amy); his sisters, Norma Frantz (Wendell), Martha Moore (Keith), Connie Green (David) and Kathryn Burnett; and his brother-in-law Verlie Shaver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Here and at home is where he developed his strong foundation of love, faith, and Christian values that he used throughout his life.
