He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnnie Hackworth and Effie Hackworth (Williams); his wife Joan (Collins); his children, Beverly Lira (Ed), Cheri Elston (Jeff), Annette Robinson, Dana Converse and Eric Hackworth; his grandchildren, Nathan Robinson, Joel, Jared Converse, Ashley Carpp (Matt), Elizabeth Colopy (Brian), Faye VanSickle (Jacob), Jana Converse, Rachael Dulebon (Rob), Madison and Makayla Lira; and his siblings, Sharon Collins (Aaron) and Bob Hackworth (Dee). He was also cherished by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

In recognition of the Executive Orders for the State of Michigan Mask and Social Distancing guidelines will be practiced both indoors and outdoors.

If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
