He is survived by: his mother Mary Tappen (Schronce); his daughters, Hayley, Taylor and Sydney Tappen; his granddaughter Asyria Hill; his sisters, Tammy Sherman, Karen Tappen and Cathy Troutner; his aunt Carol Tappen; his grandmother Kathryn Tappen; and his former wife Kenda Tappen.
