She was predeceased by: her husband Albert B. Startup; and her son Michael K. Startup. She is survived by: her children, Charlie D. Startup and Susan L. Startup-Hiler (David Hiler); her grandchildren, Alena M. Clark, Amanda L. Clark-Richards (Joe Richards) and Benjamin A. Wierenga; her great grandchild Camden L. Richards; and her sisters, Blanche Piepkow and Geraldine Pridemore (Gerri).
