She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Gunderson and Ruby Gunderson (Ferguson); her significant other Donald Scott; and her siblings, Charles Gunderson, Marjorie Layton and James Gunderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Krug (Paul); her grandson Michael Krug (Shannon); her great grandchild Trilian; her siblings, Lawrence Gunderson (Eileen), Virginia Scheidt and Jeanne Clayton; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Greene and Carol Gunderson; and her friend Arlene Latham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to American Legion Post 42, or The First Congregational Church in Charlotte.
