She was predeceased by: her parents, Asa Carey and Mildred Carey; her husband Daniel J. Nordenbrock; and her siblings, Robert G. Carey, Martha Horton and Mildred Bright.
She is survived by: her children, David Nordenbrock of Grand Rapids, Martha Cooper of Grand Rapids, Ruth Blameuser (Bob) of Antioch, Ill, Joseph Nordenbrock of Grand Rapids, Sara Rounds (Ralph) of Hart and Danny Nordenbrock of Alpena; and her brother James L. Carey of Big Rapids. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
