It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Slater of Charlotte, Michigan, born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, who passed away on March 27, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonner Hill and Nora Boyd (Childers); her husband James Lester Slater; and her siblings, Emmitte Russell Boyd, James Homer Boyd, Virginia Mae Riser, Frank Boling, Francis Richards, Samuel Peter Boyd and William Roy Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Slater (Eileen), Allen Slater (Denise) and Jerry Slater (April); her nephew Zeke Riser; and her grandchildren, Jodi West, Sarah Rock, Erikka Slater, London Slater, River Slater, Andrew Kellogg, Robert Brock, Rex Parrish, Earl Parrish and Chrystal Parrish. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
