She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Francis and Ella Lillian Covell (Williams); her husband Russell Stanaway; her brothers, William Capron and Ray Covell; and her son-in-law Craig Helmic.
She is survived by: her children, David Stanaway (Jeannine), Nancy Helmic and Mary Ann Powell (Russell); and her grandchildren, Eric Stanaway, Brett Stanaway (Jillian), Daniel Stanaway (Margaret), Patrick Helmic (Noelle), Katherine Smith (Eric) and Lucas Powell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
