With solemn reverence, we commemorate Lenora Mae Stanaway in Charlotte, Michigan, born in Austinburg, Ohio, whose life came to an end on June 23, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Francis and Ella Lillian Covell (Williams); her husband Russell Stanaway; her brothers, William Capron and Ray Covell; and her son-in-law Craig Helmic.

She is survived by : her children, David Stanaway (Jeannine), Nancy Helmic and Mary Ann Powell (Russell); and her grandchildren, Eric Stanaway, Brett Stanaway (Jillian), Daniel Stanaway (Margaret), Patrick Helmic (Noelle), Katherine Smith (Eric) and Lucas Powell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West Lansing Church of Christ (5505 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 15th 2024 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (4444 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906).
