He is survived by: his wife Joan Kay Hale; his sons, John King (Maria) of Charlotte and Jeff King (Rhonda) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Putnam (Jake) of Charlotte, Amanda Brown (Brandon) of Grand Ledge, Scott King of Charlotte, Madison King of Charlotte and Grace King of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Putnam, Peyton Putnam, Kierra Hough, Baylee Brown and Lucas King.
